About the shop
A Shoreditch corner for good bottles
Bacchus Wine Cellar has stood on Shoreditch High Street since 2012, at the point where the City meets the East End and the Overground rumbles overhead. It’s a proper local merchant: shelves stacked high, a cold fridge by the door and someone behind the counter who knows the stock.
Pop in for a bottle of red on the way home, a case for a party, a birthday malt or a cold beer for the walk to the park. Not sure what you want? Say what you’re after and roughly what you’d like to spend, and we’ll find it.

We’re at 25 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6PG, about a minute from Shoreditch High Street Overground and right by Boxpark, on the edge of the City and Brick Lane. Directions and a map are just above.

That’s the point of a local merchant. Tell us what you’re drinking or eating, the occasion and roughly what you’d like to spend, and we’ll point you to something that fits, whether it’s a midweek red or a bottle to give as a gift.
Do you stock spirits and beer as well as wine?
Yes. Alongside the wine walls there’s a full spirits range, whisky, gin, rum, vodka and more, plus a cold fridge and stacked shelves of craft beer, lager and cider.
Do you take card, and can I buy for a party?
